302 D 108

I know that this is a very bad shot, just has I was started to take a few photo's of the President of Slovenia's cars parked in the very public High Street I was stopped by the police.  This was the only diplomatic plate in the group of three cars, with the other being "1 SLO" which I think would have been the Presidents car.  The reason why Slovenia is 302 is that all the 300 plates are for newer countries that have become recognised since the original allocation of numbers.

257 D 213

Been awhile since we have seen a Diplomatic Number Plate in Oxford but I saw one today driving down Queen Street, which is a Bus only road in the City Centre. The car with the 257 D 213 plate is a Diplomatic Pate from the Sudan Embassy in London.

Old Sign Post At County Hall

Outside the main entrance to County Hall in New Road Oxford you will see this old metal directional sign from the B4031 from the North of the County.  You can see that Banbury was 6 1/2 miles from where this was taken. I think I will have another look at this and find out more about it like where is was taken from and when, sorry about not having all the information tonight.
More plates in town today, this time the Americans, have a look here.

271 D 537 and 271 D 763 United States of America

Two diplomatic cars from the United States Embassy spotted parked out the front of the Randolph Hotel this lunch time, part of a larger fleet of cars, about 5 in total however only two had the diplomatic plates on them.  Funny that the Americans are driving around in German cars? Touchy drivers about photographing the plates!!
